📖 The Story

My youngest son was diagnosed with dyslexia at age 7. Watching him struggle to read while clearly being one of the smartest kids in the room broke my heart — and fired me up.

Traditional tutoring costs $80–$120/hour. Most families can't afford it. So I built an AI that adapts to each child's learning style — reading text aloud, simplifying concepts, and patiently trying different explanations until it clicks.

The funds will cover: app development completion ($30K), accessibility testing with 50 dyslexic children ($8K), and first year of server costs to keep it free for families who can't pay ($12K).

If this works — and I know it will — I'm committing to keeping the app free for any family earning under $50K/year. No child's learning should be gated by their parents' income.
